Welcome on LINDENOK®

A Dutch thatched house evaluated from functional protection against wind and rain to a coronation of work. This development is still going on. In the past the ridge of the roof was finished with reed, straw, heith or grass. However it is the part that is burdened the most and in the past asked for the biggest part of maintenance. For a long time that is not true anymore. A ridge made of shelfs, zinc, tiles and at last a ridge especially made for this purpose from fabricated ceramic tiles were improvements which made ridges more and more reliable.

Ceramic tiles have, however, an important disadvantage. It is an stiff and brittle construction on a working underground. That eventually at each night frost will lead to (fine) cracks in the brickwork.

A copper ridge you can consider as a further development, not only splendid to see, but also sound and durably. The first ridge which guaranteed will survive the rest of the roof.
Reedcompany van der Linde supplies two types of copper ridges. The Lindenok® round model
and the Linde-potdekselnok® wich as the name suggests looks like as we say in dutch: ´potdekselwerk´.
